Program.

 1-2-3 Magic!

FREE program for La Crosse County Community!

1-2-3 Magic! Effective Discipline for kids 2 – 12 (reprinted with permission)

We want to give back to the community. Therefore, if an agency, preschool, or other community organization would like to host a 1-2-3 Magic! Workshop for parents, the cost is free. Here is the catch; the host organization needs to pick a charitable organization to make a donation to or host this as a fundraiser of some sort for the hosting organization. The host agency is responsible for marketing, location, and basic arrangements requested of the presenter for the presentation (room arrangements, etc).  We will provide a trainer at NO COST. Organizations that have utilized this in the La Crosse area are Family Resources, Congregational Pre-School, and Red Balloon Day Care. We offer to do this on an ongoing basis for each agency twice a year.

Are you frustrated trying to find an effective and positive way to discipline your children? Most parents want their kids to listen and they want to enjoy their family life. That’s why ParentMagic offers parenting solutions that are easy-to-learn and that WORK.  You won’t need to study child psychology to understand the three simple steps in the 1-2-3 Magic! program and get results quickly. This is a three hour workshop.

  • Control Obnoxious Behavior. Learn a simple technique to get your kids to STOP doing what youdon’t want them to do (whining, arguing, tantrums, sibling rivalry, etc.).
  • Encourage Good Behavior. Learn several effective methods to get your kids to START doing what you do want them to do (cleaning rooms, going to bed, homework, etc.).
  • Strengthen Relationships. Learn four powerful techniques that reinforce your bond with your children

You will also learn how to manage the Six Kinds of Testing and Manipulation, how to handle misbehavior in public and how to avoid the Talk-Persuade-Argue-Yell-Hit Syndrome.
