About Nancy Haas, MS. LPC.

Nancy was born and raised in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. She graduated from UW – La Crosse with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 1984. She later completed her master’s degree in Counseling Education from Winona State University in 1991. She has worked for over 30 years in our community, beginning with New Horizons women shelter, where she served victims of domestic abuse , followed by the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association as as a parent educator. Nancy has most recently completed a 23-year employment at Gundersen Health System, where she worked as an emergency room social worker, a Teen Health provider, and the remaining years as a behavioral health therapist. Nancy has extensive experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety , depression, spectrum, and eating disorders. In addition to general mental health issues, and she specializes in obsessive compulsive disorder and trichotillomania treatments.

In her free time , Nancy enjoys hiking and biking with her husband of 30 years. She also greatly enjoys traveling with their two grown children to new and exciting places.
