Marie Hebel is a qualified Parent Coach and In Home Counselor with Stein Counseling and Consulting Services. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
Marie has been working with individuals and families in a wide variety of roles over the past 20 years in the states of Florida, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. She provided therapy for individuals and families on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
In addition to her professional roles, she is married with four children over the age of fourteen. She has learned how to juggle and balance the roles of being a wife, mother and wage earner. She understands the stresses of trying to keep up with housework, children’s activities, coordinating schedules, transportation, and the demands of five other people.
As a Parent Coach, Marie meets with families and provides education on many topics, including but not limited to: child development, household management, effective communication skills, and appropriate parenting strategies.
As an In-Home Counselor Marie has worked with individuals and couples on issues such as depression, managing stress, grief counseling, relationship/marriage counseling, and managing family life. Marie is passionate about family life and parenting, and about helping individuals and families to draw upon their strengths to be the best that they can be.
