Kim Stein is the Clinic Administrator for both the Onalaska clinic and the La Crosse office. Responsibilities include oversight of the Leadership Team, client services, office assistant team, billing services department, and the community and family services programs. Kim also manages the day-to-day accounting responsibilities for the business.
Together with Ted Stein, her husband, they started the private practice in 2001. Kim joined the Office Assistant Team at Stein Counseling and Consulting Services, Ltd., in January 2012 and in 2014, became the Business Manager for Stein Counseling. Kim’s responsibilities included managing the day-to-day business operations, accounts payable and receivables, patient accounts, and assisting employees, referral sources, and vendors.
Administratively, Kim worked as the Medicaid Advocate at Health Tradition Health Plan. Before that, she was the Patient Account Manager for Mental Health Services for Therapy Connections through Family and Children’s Center and Health Tradition Health Plan. She also had previous direct care experience while working with at-risk youth through the Leadership Program at the Family and Children’s Center.
Kim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.
