About Kelsey Martin, MSW, LCSW, CSAC, ICS


Kelsey Martin, MSW, LCSW, CSAC, ICS is an Outpatient Therapist and In-Home Counselor with Stein Counseling and Consulting Services, Ltd.  Kelsey also provides counseling services to Onalaska and Holmen School students via Stein Counseling & Consulting Services, Ltd.’s Student Assistance Program (SAP). Kelsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, and Independent Clinical Supervisor.

Before joining Stein Counseling & Consulting Services in 2018, Kelsey worked for over 10 years with a diverse range of organizations including in-home case management, assessment, and referral services; in-patient correctional setting; and out-patient mental and substance abuse counseling.  In these roles, Kelsey was responsible for working with individuals, couples, families and groups in child welfare, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence perpetrators, anger management, and parenting education.  Kelsey’s varied background in mental health and substance abuse provides the perfect foundation for the varied roles she employs at Stein Counseling & Consulting Services, Ltd.

Kelsey utilizes the following, but not limited to, approaches to therapy: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Strengths-Based Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Kelsey has also completed the Level 1 Clinical Training in Gottman Method Couples Training.
