
Jenny Clark is an outpatient therapist and in home counselor for Stein Counseling and Consulting Services, Ltd. Jenny also provides assessment and treatment for adolescent sex offenders and administers and prepares parental risk assessments. Jenny is a License Clinical Social Worker and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in mental health from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Jenny is a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider and trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Before joining Stein Counseling and Consulting Services in 2017, Jenny worked as a forensic interviewer and family advocate for a Child Advocacy Center. Jenny was responsible for providing developmentally, culturally appropriate, and legally defensible forensic interviews of children who had experienced or witnessed violence, abuse or neglect. As an advocate, Jenny coordinated and provided services to caregivers and their children including assessments, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and ongoing support. Jenny acted as a liaison between families and the legal systems involved. Jenny has years of volunteer experience as a sexual assault and domestic violence advocate. Jenny has an extensive background working with children, individuals, and families that have been affected by trauma and her training and education in mental health provides the perfect foundation for her role at Stein Counseling and Consulting Services.
Jenny has experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, child custody, divorce, domestic violence, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, family systems, and women’s issues. Jenny is also an LGBTQ+ advocate and is committed to enhancing the lives of transgender, transsexual, and gender non-conforming people in all cultural settings.
