About Don Kube, MS, LMFT

Don Kube is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Wisconsin.  He earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin, and also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. Don’s career began at the Family and Children’s Center (FCC) residential treatment center.  He returned in various stages of his career, providing in-home counseling and working as an outpatient mental health therapist.  Don has also worked at an adolescent group home through Coulee Youth Centers, and after graduating from UW-Stout with his master’s degree, Don was employed by Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center as a therapist for their Adolescent Day Treatment Program.  After nine years as an outpatient therapist he took a position at Mayo Clinic.  Don was employed at Mayo until recently.  On January 20, 2020 he began serving clients as an outpatient therapist at Stein Counseling and Consulting Services, Ltd.

Don has been working in this field for the past 35 years and has experience working with a wide range of ages, programs, and systems that have given him the knowledge and expertise to be equipped to provide quality care for individuals, couples, and families. He has done some public speaking on depression, anxiety, and grief and has a passionate and compassionate personality to provide care for those suffering from these symptoms. Don also has a special interest in helping others heal emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically, and relationally.  Don realizes that all of these are intricately connected and need to be considered and addressed as part of the healing and restoration process.
