Carissa Hemb is a Parent Educator with Stein Counseling and Consulting Services, Ltd. In this role, she supervises parent-child visits, completes parental assessments, and works to empower clients to be able to effectively parent their children. She is a big believer in the strong influence that parental support can have on impacting children’s overall future success. Carissa is currently working towards her Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S) in the School Psychology program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Prior to living in La Crosse, Carissa attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, graduating with a bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Psychology. She draws on past work as a behavioral therapist and past practicum experiences working in the school districts, in order to be an effective Parent Educator.
