About Angelica Williams

Angelica “Angie” Williams is an Outpatient Therapist with Stein Counseling and Consulting Services Ltd. Angie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) from Viterbo University.  

Angie treats individuals as young as 17, young adults and adults. Angie is a civil rights advocate/activist and believes every person, no matter race, sexual orientation or religion should have protection and equal opportunities to succeed in life.

Angie is no stranger to the world of mental health having spent many of her early counseling years working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system. She is also a licensed therapist in both Colorado and Illinois. Before joining Stein Counseling and Consulting, Angie directed an addiction/substance abuse recovery program for a nationwide eating disorder facility in Colorado. As the overseer of this program, Angie was responsible for providing group/individual therapy, crisis intervention, psycho-education and support  for individuals struggling with both eating disorders and substance abuse/addiction issues. Angie also provided comprehensive and ongoing assessments resulting in appropriate integrative treatment recommendations. 

Angie has additional experience working in inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization programming (PHP) and outpatient (OP).  

Drawing on many years experience in Chicago, Denver and Wisconsin, Angie offers a wide range of programs and services. Angie has experience with trauma, post- traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction (substance abuse and process addictions), eating disorder, grief, codependency and more. 

Angie’s diverse background in mental health provides the great foundation for her role at Stein Counseling and Consulting as an Outpatient Therapist.
